AN-EDITORIAL CONSULTING LLC (“AN-EDITORIAL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use the AN-EDITORIAL iOS app or an-editorial.com (together, the “Services”).

Information we collect

Account and profile information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and assign an internal user identifier. Customer sign-in uses a secure email link or one-time email code; AN-EDITORIAL does not create or store a customer-chosen account password. We may also store the preferences you choose, including currency, gender context, sizes, colors, designers, saved products, and price-alert settings.

Shopping and product interactions

We process activity needed to provide and improve the Services, such as searches, filters, products viewed or saved, price alerts, preferences, and outbound retailer selections. AN-EDITORIAL does not process checkout or payment details in the iOS app. Purchases are completed with the selected retailer under that retailer’s terms and privacy policy.

Device, analytics, and diagnostic information

We and service providers acting for us may process device identifiers, app or browser version, operating system, coarse location, product interaction, and diagnostic information to operate, secure, measure, and improve the Services. Web servers and security providers may also process IP addresses and request information for delivery, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and security. The iOS app does not request precise location, contacts, photos, health information, or payment information.

Website cookies and communications

The website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookies Policy. Newsletters and other marketing messages are separate from account creation and are sent only where you have subscribed or otherwise consented. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email.

How we use information

We use information to provide search and price comparison, maintain accounts and sessions, synchronize saved products and preferences, deliver requested price alerts, personalize product presentation, measure performance, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, communicate about the Services, and comply with legal obligations.

How we disclose information

We disclose information to service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, and deliver the Services and account emails. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate obligations. When you choose a retailer offer, we direct you to that retailer; the retailer receives information provided by your browser or device and handles any purchase under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a corporate transaction.

AN-EDITORIAL may earn a commission from qualifying retailer links. The iOS app does not use the Identifier for Advertisers, request App Tracking Transparency permission, or use app data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Retention and account deletion

We keep account information while your account is active and retain other information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, legal, and backup requirements.

You can delete an iOS account in the app by opening Account and selecting “Delete account.” Deletion removes the account and its associated saved products, preferences, price alerts, notification-device records, and active account sessions. Deletion is permanent. A newsletter subscription is managed separately; use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us to remove it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may exercise an available right or ask a privacy question by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your request.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection rules different from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date shown on this page.
